A vibrant, color-splashed sea turtle appears to swim across a dreamlike beach of warm and cool hues. Each part of the turtle, from its shell to its flippers, is rendered with a patchwork of vivid, watercolor tones.
Though my life story reads more like an adventure novel set in such exotic locations as Costa Rica, Hawaii and the Desert Southwest, I was born in the State of Maine and grew up in Seattle. I was an East Coast girl growing up in a West Coast world. Weekends were spent up at Mount Rainier hiking and skiing in the National Park, Christmases were spent in Hawaii.
